technical problems
It took a good half of the month to deal with a strange bug on the VPS, which only affected the playback of live broadcasts. First, there were frame drops and video glitches for the “main” stream on Twitch. Bypassing this point, audio-video out-of-sync began during live broadcasts, but this time for a 24/7 stream.
I was unable to identify the root causes of these problems, however, I assume that after the VPS system updates, the individual relationships between ffmpeg, Liquidsoap and the Nginx rtmp module somehow broke down.
I didn’t want to upgrade to the latest versions of Ubuntu and Liquidsoap, rightly fearing new bugs. So I tried in vain a dozen different variations of building stream routes, launching streams through layers of third-party stream services, and other input.rtmp settings. This did not lead to a result, so all that remained was to give up and “move” to the latest versions of Ubuntu and Liquidsoap. As expected, the new version of Liquidsoap has revealed new issues and bugs. However, by rewriting some parts of the script, they were all solved.
At the moment, the streams are working stably and as they should.
broadcast network
In parallel with the repair of technical problems, I continued to expand the broadcasting network. As in the previous month, some of the services were eliminated, but most of them remained. And what’s nice is that for most of the platforms, we managed to write chat logger scripts on our own in order to be able to see all new chats in one window, together with the rest. For some of the new platforms (for example, Pilled and RobotStreamer), I also managed to set up message exchange between chats.
Plus, I’ve been listed on sites that exclusively distribute audio streams. Now my radio station can be found in the Icecast, InternetRadio, RadioPotok & Shoutcast. catalogs.

We got together with Mark again to make some jams. However, we have played quite a bit and the material is still in the editing stage.
